We have a unique opportunity to bring some fun and smiles to those tired of isolation. You can help us brighten a life today and brighten lives throughout the year.
Many individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities are struggling more-than-ever with feeling isolated and lonely, which is further escalated due to observing social distancing. This leads to increases in depression and anxiety.
Spinner, the famed and retired Wichita Wingnuts mascot recently surprised many of these individuals with yard visits to help spread some cheer and some safe “interaction”. Now Spinner is available to safely see your family, a friend, or to visit one of The Arc’s participants in need.
Spinner will come out for a 10 minute interaction. He can play catch, have races, or wave at friends through their windows! Not only will your donation provide a visit from Spinner to make someone’s day, but will also support The Arc of Sedgwick County’s vital programs and services, which provide social and educational development, when it is safe to do so.
All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Once your donation is received, we will call you within 24-hours to arrange your personalized visit. Thanks for supporting The Arc!
